2/21: Commonwealth Cup Schedule & Team Showcase Info!

Hi families!

First off - thank you ALL for your quick responses regarding State Championships. Everyone is now registered, and we can focus on getting the girls ready to show off their best stuff! I have a few quick updates for you today, including our last regular-season schedule and more information on this year's Team Showcase, so read on...

COMMONWEALTH CUP

The schedule for Commonwealth Cup is now live, and can be found here. The meet gift for this one is professional action photos that will be taken during the meet by John Cheng and his team - who are the official photographers of USA Gymnastics and are responsible for photographing US Championships and Team USA! So look your best and be ready to smile!

TEAM SHOWCASE

We will be hosting our second annual Team Showcase on Sunday, March 19th! Those of you who were with us last year will remember that this is a formal mock-meet event where all of the states competitors will have the chance to show routines on all four events in front of their friends and family! This is a great opportunity to invite friends and family to come watch your child, but also creates an opportunity for the girls to simulate a competition environment while they do their routines.

Because of the large number of team gymnasts we have this year,  we will be splitting the group into 2 sessions - Levels 1 and 2 will be at 11:30am and DP Levels 4-7 and all Xcel levels will be at 1:45pm. We will be handing out matching t-shirts and goody bags to all participants, and will be recognizing our seniors and revealing their senior banners after the second session has concluded. All gymnasts are welcome to stay to watch the other session.

If your child is unable to participate, please let us know ASAP. This is a really fun afternoon for us all, so we hope to have as many team members present as possible.
